This project was initially assigned by Vertex School, but due to my desire to invest more time into crafting a truly exceptional piece of art, I didn't finish it within the original timeframe. I allowed my imagination to wander, envisioning the transformation of an old trunk and contemplating the colors that would best suit its revitalization. The design that emerged from this exploration reflects my creative vision.

Incorporating Kazakh national ornaments, which have been deeply rooted in our traditions for centuries, added a touch of cultural significance to the piece. The blue body paint color, reminiscent of my childhood, evokes nostalgic memories of a wooden table adorned with the same hue. As I worked on this aspect, the scent and texture of the paint enveloped me, deepening the sentimental connection.

To infuse a modern twist, I incorporated an Eagle pattern alongside an ornament element and the number 89. These elements bring a contemporary flair to the trunk, blending tradition with a fresh perspective. Furthermore, the light green paint used on the inside holds a similar story to the blue paint, evoking a sense of nostalgia and personal resonance.

This project represents a harmonious fusion of cultural heritage, personal memories, and artistic expression. It serves as a testament to my passion and commitment in creating a meaningful and visually captivating piece of art.

For this project, I utilized 3ds Max for both high poly and low poly modeling. ZBrush was employed to refine specific elements. Substance Painter was used for texturing, while rendering was accomplished in Unreal Engine. #3dsmax #zbrush #substancepainter #unrealengine
