This is my Term 1 Final Project at Think Tank Training Centre.
For this project, I reimagined Pittsburgh's South Side, specifically a small section of East Carson Street, as it might look in the year 2089. The scene is set around 3 AM in September, with leaves just beginning to turn yellow. Inspired by cyberpunk aesthetics, I aimed to create a futuristic yet clean cityscape, avoiding the typical grittiness of the genre.
The project features three buildings.
- The one on the left is modeled after an actual building on that street.
- The central buildings are my own creations, designed with the idea that future construction could be modular.
I created these buildings as modular parts (3Ds Max), textured them with trim sheets (Substance Painter), and assembled them procedurally (Houdini, Houdini Engine for UE5).
- The third building on the left houses coffee shops on the ground floor, with offices and a parking lot above. This building was modeled and textured in a tradidional midpoly workflow (3Ds Max, Substance Painter)
Additionally, I used Houdini to create other procedural elements like cables, fences, and pipes.
For smaller elements, I sourced assets from Sketchfab, Quixel, and BlenderKit.
