In 2022, I ventured into the realm of teaching a live online course on 3D modeling and visualization. This course catered to three distinct audiences in three different languages: English, Kazakh, and Russian. The project stemmed from my own syllabus, which I developed independently before guiding the students through the same process.

The primary objective of the course was to demonstrate the art of controlling cameras, camera settings, lighting techniques in Unreal Engine 5, and capturing stunning renders. By doing so, students gained a deeper understanding of the intricacies involved in creating 3D artworks.

The main software tools taught in the course were 3ds Max and Unreal Engine. It was designed to be beginner-friendly, focusing on mid-level polycount 3D modeling of various elements such as the main building, kitchen furniture, and other small objects.

First, I meticulously created the main blockout in SketchUp, using real-life house measurements. This approach was essential to ensure that the house exudes a sense of realism in its design. Having accurate measurements also helped learners understand and build the 3D house faster.
